A Meandering on *Church*

Have you ever thought of *church* in it's proper way? Biblically speaking?

My son posted a thingy on Facebook, and it set my mind to *Meandering* again...
  But it doesn't take much to do that, as you have probably figured out by now. :-)

 

  Church is what the people of God are called.
            *Church* is who we ARE.

   Church is also delegated to a building.
A Building is called a *church* because of the people that are there.

    The *Church* People should be a gathering at a specific *building* called a church for several reasons....
1st.. To Praise and Worship our God & Father.
2nd.. There we can learn HOW to become a child of His, if we are not yet there.
3rd..To study our God & Father's Word, preserved for us down thru the centuries. I call it His Love Letter to me on how to become His child & how do this life here, :-) And... how to be a good ambassador of my Lord's everywhere I go.
4th.. We get to know, accept and Love our brothers & sisters in Christ, and be of help to one another.  

5th.. As we are born into the family of God, little babies need Milk to grow, and more & more Food to Mature. So we gather for Bible Study, and submit ourselves to the Word of God & each other, & thereby we help teach other to grow, and Mature in the word of God. :-)

Someone once said, "The Word of God NEVER changes .. but the application may" God never misses a beat in our lives. He has a plan... and the Holy Spirit can nudge us to Him & his plan IF we are sensitive and do not rebel.

5th... We also learn about Prayer, and Pray about everything, Adoring God, Confessing Sin, being Thankful, and then Supplication.  His *house* will be a *house* of prayer, be it person or at building gatherin.. lol 

AND as we are "GOing" around our families, jobs, stores, out in the world, we share the Gospel, we minister to people as best we can, we just love'em to Jesus If they will let us. :-)
6th.. Which brings us back to Sunday and gathering again, for Worship, Praise, Study, Correction, Instruction, Fellowship,  Hugs, Encouragement, Filling, and off we go into another week.
  Just Saying... My thoughts...  and of course I do believe it.
