MUSIC.. Words & Music to be exact...

  Music is one of my dearest loves... I enjoy some better than others, and yet, there is other stuff that I wonder how they can even call it music. But...

In *my* day the music was soothing, comforting, encouraging, uplifting, and at times even bouncy! lol

Someone was going through something and an old tune came to mind. I suggested they *Look for the Silver Lining.* An oldie but goodie...
In every situation, at any time, etc.. there is a Silver Lining IF we but *Look* for it..

 

 

Sometime it may take a bit of looking.. but it is there...

"Look for the silver lining, when 'ere a cloud appears in the sky,

Remember somewhere the sun is shining, and so the right thing to do is make it shine for you...

A heart full of joy and gladness will always banish sadness and strife, so alway look for the silver lining and try to find the sunnyside of life."

Silver linings I've noticed of late:

   Sun on a snowy day..

  Someone giving me a hug for no reason in particular..

  The chance to be encouraging in an instant..

  Grandkids and kids, *liking* something I posted on Facebook.. (or anyone for that matter)

  Simple meals that bring back memories..

  Friends that love ya & challenge you out of the blue, to *do something* :-)

  A husband that offers to do dishes so you can go to crochet earlier..

  Someone that calls to share their joy.

 Someone that  feels they can share their sadness in confidence.
  Something that pops out at you from the bible you're reading and touches you in so many different ways.. *THE Word is always new.* :-)
  Someone gives ya a cheery word of encouragement...
  Someone gave their life to Jesus!!!

  Someone returned to the church!
  Making something and giving it away and seeing joy in someone's eyes. "I can keep it? Really?" "Yes it's yours!"

   The many pictures and videos that pop up on here of our great grandkids and just put a spark to your day...

Yes little *silver linings,* but with profound lifts to the day, tho all unexpected, UNLESS you are *Looking* for the Silver Lining.

   Now go thou and do likewise for someone.. make a silver lining appear in the cloud for someone else..
      God works on the GIVE principle...
"Give... and it shall be given unto you..."
A kind word, a call, a visit, a bit of encouragement.. sweet challenge to do better, a hug... etc etc etc....
