FAMILIES...

   Thinking about "Family" today... How my mind meandered over there I'm not sure. In church our Sunday school lesson was on PRAY & intercession. hmm
   ...FAMILY be it by Blood, By Adoption, or Salvation...
Not all of us have, or had, that "loving, fun,supportive" kind of family.
   Some of us throw in the towel early on, in marriage.
    Some of can't/won't forgive & be connected again.(what you are missing!)
     Some of us are Unteachable.
     Some of us have been convinced by the devil that we have rights,are entitled to,  and I'm moving on looking for Prince Charming OR Princess beautiful... Or the Perfect church.. No such things in this life.
... Really, there is no perfect mate, parent, sibling, cousin, etc. in any family.. We all have faults, shortcomings, preferences, sin in our lives. And we just need Jesus to mold us & make us into something beautiful that can/will be a blessing to others. 
Even IF we know Jesus, we can sometimes be distant from Him, refuse the best, & become disobedient & sour apples. lol
... Once someone gave a talk to our ladies at church, about "negative Nancy" - I never forgot her, and sometimes I still fall into that mode, tho I am trying to be more consistent in all areas.
... This one thing I DO KNOW is that be it blood, adoption, or church, we all have our warts, and need each other!
Pastor Harris once said be careful when you Point a finger at Someone, because you have 3 coming back at you, and sometimes the 'flaws' you most see in others is the 'flaw' in you. 
... I prefer Accentuating a person's positive points and be uplifting/inspiring. 
... We MISS sooo much in Either or All these Families we live in when we refuse to forgive & forget & come alongside another person & *REALLY* get to know them, love them & Let them do the same with you..
...We all have love & life experiences & fun to share with all in the lives HE set us into for our good, & His purpose. 
... Look at others through His eyes at His creation, we do it with animals & the outdoors, why not with people? ... & BE a Blessing. OH how much better the world around us would be & might, just might, Ripple out into a farther world.. 
And be the beginning of changes we desire to see all over.. 
Don't you just dislike disjointed "Families" of any kind?
... Are Our "Families" Connected & loving in as much as it is in our power to make it happen? 
... My 2 great grandbabies have taken their "First Steps" in the passed few weeks.. & they did it and it wasn't easy but the joy I see on their faces now!! Wow! Let it be for us too.
... Let's not be chicken or cowards or rebellious  & take those First Steps to Building a Bridge Over whatever thorns might be in our "Families" to Unity. 
    What do you think?? What might we be missing? that in time, we can NEVER get back!
