Just sitting here, a bit warm & thinking!

   Well hello there!! This morning our fan motor on the furnace/A.C. died... so Bud has to get a new one tomorrow.. In the meantime we are trying to stay cool.. have some fans here and there and I'm not cooking.
   Praise the Lord I had food made up from yesterday, so that was taken care of. I generally don't do that on the week-end, thank Holy Spirit for you nudge.
   But as I sit here, just quietly thinking, I am amazed at the many comforts we have. And sooo many we take for granted, and don't seem to be thankful for at all. Like we are *entitled* .. Or Really??  
   Then I get on Facebook. I was happy to learn how to do that to be able to keep in contact with *away* family & friends. But sometimes I am truly *amazed* there also, at the things we will post and not give a thought to "where that picture came from," or what language is interspersed here or there. No thought seems to be given as to what we might be saying unkindly toward another. Some times in our zeal as to what we believe we might go overboard and say things that are really not needful at all. After all....
  There is your *truth, *my truth, and the *real truth in our lives that we may not know or understand... and then above all there is God's Truth....
God's truth In relational matters, in life matters, in community matters, I tend to lean toward the *real truth, as left to us and preserved for generations for us in our Bibles.
    Almighty God the Creator of all things has a plan for everything and how it should work and be handled.
   We are sinful by nature and need, I say need, His forgiveness, saving grace, transforming power, and the manual for living, called Bible. to have any peace, joy, love, etc. and eternal life in the end. Once we become a child of the King & take our Father's name.. "CHRISTian"... We stand strong in our convictions, are not rude, and there is no straddling the fence. Our Talk & Walk match at all times, with love toward our neighbor. Who is my neighbor.. anyone that is not me. :-)
   I am so glad a neighbor friend introduced me to the Lord, and how He has worked in my life when I fully surrendered to His Lordship and authority.. God is Good... Try Him, I mean a real "personal relationship with Jesus." You would never be sorry...
   Don't just take my word for it.. but seek for yourself, search Him out.. He'll meet you just where you are.. :-) That I know.
